Breasts.

It depends a lot on the industry and the current motivations of upper management. When people begin to see 'their' company as nothing but cashflow, then it almost guarantees they'll lose the passion that caused them to start the industry in the first place.

With the amount I use the internet for work, hobbies, gaming, communication, etc., I'd have to say less than 5% is left over.

I think beautiful is more a state of having certain qualities, most of which can be scientifically defined and categorized. We can analyze and assess beauty, and we can learn to identify characteristics that most humans in our culture will find beautiful. We can create an image of feminine beauty based on composition and proportion. That all sounds very clinical, but our reaction to beauty is a sense of awe and interest and compassion, reactions that are far from clinical.

Sexy, on the other hand, is raw sex appeal, and is far more personal. Though you can find actresses 9-out-of-10 straight men will agree are beautiful, it's not always the case with "sexy." You might personally find some actress hot as hell (sexy) while plenty of other folks say things like "she does nothing for me." For some, sexy is largely in the eyes, others the body, others the attitude regardless of physical features, etc. It's simply a far more subjective and erotic classification.

If you have a general idea of where you want to go with the character, then A. It's the best way for people to know and care about the characters better since they could be more human than just a bunch of pics. The problem is that you may find yourself coming up with a lot of different ideas and difficulty implementing them. But in the end, you'll have something you can call your own.

If you're looking to just release something and something fast, then B. Some quick sex scenes is never a bad thing.

Agreed. Done well, you just can't beat a character with real story and soul behind her, but a bad story can ruin even a good comic. For artists who just want to get to the sex scenes (and/or that's where their strengths as an artist lie), then B is preferable.

That said, if anyone in the B category is ever looking for some additional writing input, there's plenty to be found. I know I'll never excel at 3dx, but I've been known to sling a tale or two, and plenty of other writers would be more than happy to help out.

I don't know if "care" is the right word or not, but there are definitely characters that begin to come to life. The artist captures a particular expression so well and so often, that you feel you can understand what that character is thinking and feeling.

The number one example of that for me is SaphireNishi's main character. In a few of her pictures, you can see such longing; in others, desire; and in yet others, lust. You start to feel like you know this girl, and the fact that most of those expressions are directed straight out the 4th wall, you even start to wonder for a split second if she's feeling those things for you.

Anyway, the recent "model" type stuff that SaphireNishi's been doing more of has left less room for what I consider to be the "real" Saph character, and I find that kind of sad. Going mainstream is probably important for the artist, and I want to see her rewarded for her hard work, but I'll also miss seeing the sexier, sassier, more intimate Saph as often.

Then again, maybe that's just me…
