I posted this elsewhere and I probably should have posted it here instead. My apologies!!!
This post concerns our browser trying to download a zipped file whenever visiting the DLC page. This behavior also happens when visiting the main affect3d.com page. This does NOT happen when visiting the store, however.
I have stumbled upon the root cause of the issue. I downloaded the file and unzipped it. It contained a gibberish-looking file. I renamed it to have a .zip extension and then unzipped it. The resulting file is human-readible and looks like a Wordpress-generated web page.
I think what is happening here is your web server administrator attempted to enable dynamic compression, so that content served to people surfing the site is compressed on-the-fly. However there is an incorrect setting somewhere.
Notice the last 3 lines of the uncompressed file I downloaded:
That last line confirms that compression was deliberately turned on. Normally, compression works fine. The problem is your web server is interpreting it incorrectly.
