  • In light of this article http://affect3d.com/editorial/breaking-news-fred-likes-futa/ I guess it's only fair I answer my own questions :D

    1. Its probably more accurate like others have said to think of it as surrealism

    2. I guess I aquired it, and got used to it (surprising quickly), I was very anti futa, then changed my mind, so I don't think its hard-wired

    3. It took a few tries to get used to it

    4. No, just realised I had a greater capacity to suspend my disbelief than I had previously thought.

    5. Well, the only futa who convinces me of her gender (so far) is Sayako, considering her size, not sure I could do anything for her :D

  • Huh. Interesting and divergent perspectives. Guess I'll join in.

    1. Nah, I wouldn't call it "abstract" for reasons already noted by other folks.

    2. This one's really interesting to me. I think that those who are not into it can move from "hate" to "tolerate," but I'd be surprised if we've got anyone here who moved from truly hate to "love." That's quite a difference. Personally, I started at "hate," and I now tolerate the really mild stuff if the other girl in the picture is hot enough. I still find the extreme stuff (the giant bulging snake-cocks on a girl) to be utterly unappealing.

3 - 5) Inapplicable, still. I'll be sure to let the forum know if that changes. :P

The book you are referring to has its concept pretty much destroyed by evidence on this page

    http://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/billion-wicked-thoughts/201207/the-truth-about-50-shades-grey-and-futanari-porn

But I'm glad you're approaching the questions on an intellectual level :)

Strange, that link actually contains the original authors response to their critics. Anyway, the reason I mentioned the book is their reasoning of futa as an optical illusion. I'd like to think abstract art as results of the deconstruction of traditional art concepts. I don't think futanari falls into that distinction. I didn't quote it because of the concepts derived by the authors.

    @'fredfred5150':

With the exception of miro, everyone misunderstood question 3, I was refering to when you watch hetero porn, you aren't watching the guy "the one doing the fucking" but when watching futa, I assume you would look at the one doing the fucking just as much as the one receiving the fucking….....if so was making this "visual focus reorientation" a problem?

To acquire a taste, one must first be able to watch it, no? I've never watched futanari porn, since I don't think there's a real life futanari anywhere. Thus, my inability to answer question 3, 4 and 5.

No, renders and drawings don't count as porn for me. If you're referring to transexual porn, for me they're still pretty much male (some with more horrendous boob jobs that your average female porn stars).

  • @'matthacker':

I think the authors of 'A Billion Wicked Thoughts' captured this excellently.

I like the answers from everyone so far, keep 'em coming

  • 1. Futa is that type of art that either makes the viewer go "WTF is this! This doesn't belong here. Where's the Rembrandts?" or "This is beautiful! They better have copies of this in the gift shop." A lot of modern art puts us into those two camps. Love it or hate it.

    2. It depends on the futa artist. I love futa but some artists don't do anything for me. Perhaps exposure to some quality futa can swing a hater to the other side.

    3. I've never minded seeing a cock in porn. I guess it's like that because I'd imagine that to be my cock when I first started checking out porn. I preferred hetero porn because that was always my cock doing the deed. By the time I first encountered futa, I was used to seeing the cock.

    4. I've always first and foremost had a thing for sexy women of all shapes and sizes. It's the sexy eyes, beautiful face, the hair, the boobs, the abs, the legs, and the butt. Whether she's hiding a half-inch clit or a 12-inch cock in her panties, it doesn't matter. Probably 90% of my porn collection is hetero, 10% futa. Enjoying a beautiful woman who happens to have a cock doesn't make anyone gay.

    5. This was the easiest question. If the futa is sexy, in a heartbeat. I've had a lot of fun with a few gorgeous and hung transexuals. I like my partner to enjoy themselves, so, I do everything I can to ensure that. I'll let others worry about whether that makes me gay, I was having too much fun.

    1. I'd have to agree with Miro and Matt, I don't think of it so much abstract art as fantasy.

    2. Interesting question. I think it can be acquired over time. I remember the first time I saw a futa hentai I was not into it. Looking back though, the quality of the hentai probably had a lot to do with it (it wasn't very good quality). As my tastes in porn… umm... "evolved" I liked lesbian porn, but like a number of folks have said it lacks penetration.

So later on in my porn journey I stumbled upon some futa hentai that was of decent quality, and I realised that it really was a great fantasy scene to behold. So for me it was acquired. I started finding myself seeking that particular type of porn, when at first I was adverse to it.

Final answer: I'm certain that it goes both ways. Those who are open minded and willing to be honest with themselves CAN acquire it. But we all know there are those who are quite set in there ways with a closed mind and would be "hard-wired" to hate it.

3)I think just getting older and more comfortable and confident in my own sexuality helped me "get over" the penus in porn. One day I realised that seeing a big ol' cock doing things to a hot female I wish I could do was the most heterosexual thing one can view. It's not until that big ol' cock starts poking at a guy is it gay. It's when we're young and still unsure of ourselves do we go "EEEEWWW!" to the site of genetalia that we have in our own pants.

    1. Nah, never doubted my sexual orientation. Because even though I found futas to be an amazing fantasy, especially in hentai and later on in 3DX, I never did like shemale porn. And the biggest reason for that? Most of those vids are of normal guys giving the shemales oral. Couldn't get into that. (which to me affirmed my sexual preference even more)

I did, however, come to the conclusion that I'm more of a perv than I realised, lol :D

Alright, and now the big question...

If you genuinely accept a futa as %100 woman who just happens to have a cock, then would you do things to her cock to make her happy? (if you're hetero and shes a woman...shouldn't the answer be yes?)

Well... assuming it's the perfect futa in my fantasy. She would be beautiful, fun, super horny, and have both sets of genetalia. Even though I feel comfortable in my heterosexuality, I would do things for her, but it wouldn't involve any oral and I wouldn't let her penetrate me. I would, however, do things to her wang that I do to my own. Beat that dick like it owes me money while I have fun with her girl parts. It's the least I could do for her, lol! I figure if I can keep her happy, maybe we could tag team some hot girls together. Muahahahahaha! >:D

And it's just me probably, but it's the presence of a vagina that would make me ok with having sex with her. No offense to Ms. Sayako or any of the beautiful 3D girls rendered out there with big ol' balls, LOL! It just seems to me that the lack of a vagina and a set of testicles is where I draw my line as far as "would I do her?" With the big ball futas I'll just enjoy the show just as I would watching Peter North rock some fine starlet. (But futas are hot and have bouncy boobs!).

    Win.
    Win.
    Win.

When I first found art that displayed dickgirls in a way that I enjoyed I really didn't have many second thoughts about liking it, it took a while to also present my own art featuring it, but I never had personal doubts over it, but anyway here are my answers:

    1. don't think of it as abstract, I think of it as fantasy

    2. yes, I think it's very art dependent, so if you find more and more art that's in line with what you like it can grow on you

    3. well yeah being able to enjoy everyone involved in full view is the biggest perk

    4. no

    5. tricky that one, haha … to be honest I've thought about it and probably would, the thing is though the dickgirls I create for example I could never see existing in the real world, so they essentially are just a fantasy, porn to me in general is fantasy not reality, like watching Lord of the rings is an escape into dreamland not the real world :)

  • @'fredfred5150':

This isn't a thread of futa hate or futa love, think of it as an exploration of the concept

    1. If we think of porn as art, is futanari porn the equivalent of the "abstract" style of art?

    2. Do you think futanari is a fetish that can be “acquired” over time? something that one can get used to and begin to enjoy? Or are you hard-wired to either love or hate it?

    3. For those who “acquired” a taste for it, how did you overcome the “don’t look at whats attached to the base of the cock” discipline required when watching traditional hetero porn?

These next two are for the bravest of you to answer!

    4. If/when you came to the realization that you liked futa, did you at any point (and however briefly) doubt your sexual orientation?

    5. If you genuinely accept a futa as %100 woman who just happens to have a cock, then would you do things to her cock to make her happy? (if you're hetero and shes a woman…shouldn't the answer be yes?)

    I'll get the ball rolling.
    1. I would say no. Abstract art breaks down (deconstructs) traditionally held concepts and/or objects. I would say that's it's more surreal, much like Dali uses optical illusion in some of his work. I think the authors of 'A Billion Wicked Thoughts' captured this excellently.

    2. That would generally be influenced by two things, personality and sexual preference. A strong (more dominant) personality will likely not be swayed to accept conflicting views, while a personality susceptible to suggestions will be more likely to accept (or at least not reject it). As is discussed on the book though, sexual preference also plays a role.

For question 3 to 5, since futa have no real live action counterpart, I can't come up with the answer. Well, except saying I'm honestly still straight.

  • Ooh, this is gonna be a good one… I must contemplate this... my full post will have to wait til I get home. They're actually making me work for my money tonight, lol.
