  • @'jbtrimar':

Well, I use a prop. The nice thing about the prop is that it has morphs that are close to the way Dmitrys draws his cum. The other nice thing about it is that Malocula went ahead and came up with a real nice material for it.

This prop allows for a good mix between real and unreal. It also lends itself to Photoshop. Here are a few examples.

I'm using Daz Studio 4.6 & I can't find any suitable prop. What kind of prop did you use?

    Thnx

  • I just realized it has been a whole year since my first attempt at a sperm shader. Well, I can say I have it now. It has only taken like 500+ differents tests with every material possible in Poser LOL

I'll post a screencap and a test of a very SIMPLE shader which is a basic template for any liquids and fluids you may want to produce on Poser. This shader is 99.9% physically accurate: it is procedural which means you don't need any bitmaps to use it, and you can use it with ANY object, which I'll show using three different props…

    Here it is:

  • @'Supro':

I was playing around on a commission and ended up coming up with a cum technique that I really really really love (really). I'm not gonna post the full pic up yet, but here's how it looks.

It required two things: Rons Slime and a couple of splatter brushes.I'm still gonna need to practice it a bit, but I think I have my simple solution to a major problem. :D

And there you go! Ron's Slime has done it again

    That looks pretty awesome :D

    @'jbtrimar':

LOADZ is a fun product to use. You just have to tinker a bit with it.

I have to ask this….is it LOADZ of fun to use? ducks for cover

*Throws a wet blanket at Nephanor"

    Who let him in here?

Tiff, I have used that method before. It works from far away pretty well. For close-ups though, I like to use a real prop as a base. I can't play up Ron's Slime enough. That is a great brush set. Just use the Plastic filter and dink with it until you get the look you like.

  • You can take a picture of a cumshot or just some cum and turn it to black and white and adjust the levels so that the cum is close to white and the skin is close to black, then you use that as a level mask.

You could also do similar but blend several together for a big block of cum then draw the cum splatter manually, then ctrl+click the drawing layer and mask the big block so it matches the shape of what you drew. After that if you want it a bit more realistic you can go in and manually add a little bit of brighter white shine along some of the edges and such.

You could probably use blurring and light effects if you need some kinda perspective effect.

  • I tried the technique of zzomp a time ago and that looks pretty good, the funny thing when you slightly modify his technique you can get a cool blood effect.
jbtrimar I never thought that you can get such results with LOADZ.

Saw this earlier in Renderosity's Free stuff.

Might be useful for someone with Poser.

Thanks, I'll check it out :D

  • Quite a study reference, and guide. Seems like its the most missed opportunity with these 3D engines.
In regards to the Armature model, what engine is that running on?

  • Have you try something like this?

Smoothed-particle hydrodynamics (SPH Fluid). This fluid method is more accurate for animated body, but at metaballs cost.

Armature Soft-Body Breast Physics. This method is less CPU intensive, than actually full body softbody, since it only applied to bones

  • Looking good so far. It has the milky complexion of cum and will add a nice dimension to any pic.

  • Indeed, it does look promising, but to REALLY see if it looks good, what you should do is have a 'skin' box and have it against that, to see how it looks against flesh. That would give you a better start. And of course, maybe something else to get perhaps hair and a then a solid surface too. It's not just 'in the air' you want to test, but how it looks on surfaces.

Now, I have to ask, what program is this shader in?

  • The bottom right looks like it has a bit too much noise, but I can definitely see the progress you are making. very nice!

  • It's almost there, but this is just a sample of the shader's evolution.
I have tried the first two versions on props and they were rendering too flat and opaque, so there's still work to do on the transparency, that's why I placed a tiled cylinder behind the test sphere prop.

There's redundant IOR info in some of the nodes and I think the shader could be more efficient. So I'll see if I can fix that.

  • @'jbtrimar':

Uchuujinx, please let us know when you are finished with that shader :D

Indeed! I would love to see it! And if anyone has used Lux for rendering cum, I would also love to see their settings, since I will be using it eventually!
