  • Nerd & Geek - probably when they started becoming billionaires.

However, these days you're finding "the pretty people" getting these labels simply because they have a passing interest in technology. As such, you're no longer seeing neckbeards and traditional scrawny computer-geniuses depicted in movies, but some hot chick whose more do-able than the higher-ranked characters (i.e. Arrow, Agents of Shield).

Ghetto butts and thighs in Anime/Hentai. Where the fuck did this come from?

The knock-kneed "I gotta pee" anime-based female pose.

This "circle over the eye" hand pose. Saw a guy in the background during one of the college championship games last year who was trying entirely too hard to maintain this as he bounced with the crowd to be seen on TV.

The finger over the lips in a "shhh" pose - seen this on quite a few promo pics at Daz recently.

  • the phrase 'yeah no'

while there are times the phrase fits. such as someone agreeing with you about something being a big no.
people now just seem to say it like they weren't actually listening to what your saying.

  • Being fat… I never got that...
Being ugly and having a low iq... I never got the fad about that either...
Not exercising and getting fat asap you get married.. why? To ask your wife/husband to get an afair asap?
    Curly hair. Why?
    Hipsters and metal music emo's...
The words 'yo', 'high five', 'tool', and 'brother' when he is not actually your real brother... (racist ehem?)
    Big asses... why?
    Innie pussies? Why?
    Balless futas. Why?

Oh, and I agree with your points too tiffany... :)

  • The word "twerking." What was wrong with "booty shaking?"
Changing "hurr durr" to "herp derp" - wtf, why?
Aviator glasses, and even larger ones. Do people not realize how incredibly stupid they look?
Nerd & Geek becoming badges of pride rather than insults… I definitely don't get that one.

  • @'Nuke':

    The original Robocop movie.

There was a toy line for it.

How in the fuck did this movie get so popular with kids that they made toys for it? Seriously!?

Who says they actually succeeded in selling them?

  • @'PervisMaximus':

    UGG boots

newsflash girls…. no matter how cute or hot you are, these boots are fucking ugly.

i agree they are truly ugly.

  • Nah Justin Bieber's easy to figure out if you accept the fact that pre-teen/early teen girls are easily exploited.

They had a cartoon actually. The intro of which is a ripoff of several shows of marvel characters. But yeah. A lot of it based more or less off robocops 1 & 2. Funny, I got Robocop 3 at 10 years old for my birthday… Rated R shit... Then again, if you had access to cinemax, HBO, or pay per view even biefly you got exposed to a lot including beverly hills cop 3...

  • Wearing pants below the ass especially considering its origins…

The whole emo thing, it's like an unholy birth from an abominable mix of goth punk and hipster shit through the ages.

    @'EctoRider':

It-girls or similar persons that only seem famous for being famous.

Wired magazine had an undeniably gorgeous girl on the cover one month but that wasn't how she already got famous… when I read the article it was the fact she had a website with her own blog and just got out and had photo and vid ops with famous people and I think some sort of phenomena happened similar to viral advertising but there was no advertising involved.

I think it's just that whole circular chain of "the web show about the podcast, about the blog, about the web show, etc." and if people have the right combination of content and popularity in each category, then it just multiplies and takes off exponentially when they're connected. I'm not sure why but that's how. It's just content, and media folding back on itself with cameos, and it goes on and on.

Perhaps it's because people are easily entertained?

  • Keeping the sticker on new era hats, it is baffling to me.

  • Pokemon, haha. I honestly never got that. I was in my freshman year when it became a thing and I tried to hop aboard but it just so completely did nothing for me that attempting to play along quickly became a chore.

  • lol catz…
