  • Thanks for the input everyone. I've to take it into consideration for the next pictures or if I choose to rework that one.
I'm still struggling with the workflow of picture series so by now I may just stick to single pictures but I'll try to make them more dynamic and less staged/posed.

Hey, I'd consider myself fortunate if I could manage that level of quality with my painfully under equipped setup..

Are you going for some kind of Leona Heidern lookalike with the blue haired babe?

That's correct, she's supposed to be Leona Heidern. :D

  • Depends on the level of realism you're going for. Cartoon-Colored hair is one thing that immediately breaks the immersion. The look on her face is "uh, ok, what-EVER!" rather than "eww!" or "mm, yummy!", and thus looks "posed".
The guy's hips/pelvis should be stuck forward, which is the body's natural muscle response to ejaculation. He doesn't have to be up on his tippy-toes like a schoolboy or a cartoon, because that's too exaggerated, but he should at least be in "jizz pose".

The lighting is fine IMO, but I'm not a fan of bright flood lights that chase away all shadows, or heavy sweating. Shadow works with light to give any 2D image depth, and even with 3D, a render is still a 2D image.

As for "dazzling", I don't see the point. An image should have flow, but it doesn't always have to be a full-on entertainment experience by itself. There should be a sense that you're looking at a still shot from a film reel, not "ok, hold still, now watch the birdie".

  • The lighting is workmanlike—solid, pragmatic, but not artistic. There are lots of ways you could go—everything from badly lit classic porn to glamour shot ritz, but I'd move away from the studio portrait look if you want it to feel more artistic.

The camera angle is also a bit workman like. Again, not bad, but it doesn't sizzle. I'd experiment with different angles and pans—what does a handheld shaky cam look like in a still? What about a super close up? Maybe looking down, as if seeing from the guy's eyes.

  • Nah it does not look bad or wrong, you probaly just need to play with it a bit in photoshop to change the contrast a bit, maybe some of the tonemapping so it does not look as uniform and the characters pop a bit more.

I dont see anything wrong with the image, apart from the pose of the dude. We do not see his head, but the way he is standing looks kind of uninterested, maybe have his body arched either forward or backward a little, and the fingers on his hand spread a bit to express his extasy from shooting his load. Right now it gives me the impression of "Oh hey, I came. Good job. I need to get back to filling some papers now." :)
