Vicki in Space!
I'll post my next image on 4/20/15
This last week I've upgraded my computer with a new motherboard and two GTX 780 ti video cards for rendering with Iray. Of course I tested the speed of my new cards. This is the test image:
… and these are the times:
CPU only: 3 hours, 58 minutes & 33 seconds
One GPU: 6 minutes & 41 seconds
Two GPU: 3 minutes & 36 seconds
A respectable increase in speed!
I'm going to render something much more complicated than that. Something with tits. I don't have it set up yet, so I've rendered something much simpler and tried to 'cartoonize' it by postworking it in the GIMP.
It's too early to tell if this kind of thing is viable. I'll probably be doing mostly photorealistic stuff for awhile.
I'll post another image on 4/13/15.
This is Lupa, a cartoon elf, rendered using Iray:
I'm not going to have much time for art this week, but I'll upload something on 4/6/15.
Here's an Iray test:
My next image is going up on 3/30/15. I don't know what it'll be yet.
It's that time of the week again…
It's my first real comic.
You'll find some additional commentary over at LarryBrunder.deviantart.com
I really don't make Affect3D style art, so you can't depend on finding my stuff here. You will find it at DeviantArt and for the more explicit stuff you can go to LarryBrunder.tumblr.com.
I'll post my next image on 3/23/15.
This is Kethlana:
Anyway you look at it, she's more than a handful.
Next image on 3/16/15. It'll probably be a comic page.
It’s a busty elf on a rug. Sometimes an image doesn’t need anything more than that.
I’ll upload another image on 3/9/15. I don’t know what it’s going to be yet since I’ve got a couple of things in the works.
Another pin up that twisted into something else. This time poor Vickie became a lamia. She usually attempts to mesmerize her prey with her tits. If that doesn't work, she switches to a more direct approach using teeth and knives.
I tried to convey movement in this one. I wanted it to look like her tits were bouncing and flopping around as she rapidly slithered forward. I think I did manage to capture some sense of that.
I don't think I can really classify this image as porn though.
My image for next Monday, 3/2/15, will be a busty elf pin up. It's been four weeks since I've done one of those. I don't want to stray too far from my base for too long. At least not yet.
This is Hye-Jung. You'll be seeing more of her in the future, but probably not very soon. I did three versions of this cartoon.
I'll post my next image on 2/23/15.
OK, I wasn't going to post here, but after writing that somebody left me a comment over at DeviantArt that they check my art over here. So, given that, here's this week's image:
This is Karen:
For the last two months I've made either stylized images or used Luxrender. I wanted to see how a standard render using 3Delight would turn out using what I've learned in that time.
My next image will be posted on 2/9/15. I'll be trying for an airbrushed style pin up.
This is another exercise using cel-shaders. This time I'm trying to emulate the old aquarelle style used in classic pin ups.
I'll post the next image on 2/2/15.
Look! Up in the sky! It's a bird… It's a plane... Nah, it's just Vicky.
Well, that's my Monday image for this week. I'll post my next image on 1/26/15
This is a booty gnome! The concept isn't as popular as the booby elf, butt it's a well rounded concept I can really get behind. Even though she's vastly outnumbered by her top heavy competition, I don't think she'll have any trouble at all getting what she wants in the end:
This is Analia, a character created by Elmo Snard.
Evolluisionist has also taken a stab at rendering Analia awhile back: http://evolluisionist.deviantart.com/art/Gnome-Beauty-473313623
My next image is going up on 1/19/15
I've been experimenting with cel-shaders with the goal of simulating the kind of coloring you find in modern comics, and I think I've gotten pretty close with this image:
This isn't a drawing. It's a 3D render.
I was going to say that this is a rare style for 3D, but how would we know? If an artist is well practiced at this kind of thing you'd have to closely examine the image to know if it's a render or not. This style is much easier than photorealism. You don't have to fight against the uncanny valley here.
This is my image for Monday 1/5/15. I'm just posting it a little early.
Next image will be posted on 1/12/15. It'll be something different. Naw, that's not going to fool anybody. It'll be focused on big roundness just like this one.
I'll post something more colorful tomorrow.
I created this image for the Chubby Woman contest over at http://sexyvoluptuousvixens.deviantart.com/
I don't think it's the souls weighing her down… I think it's her fat ass.
Next image will be posted on 1/5/15.
I've mainly been puttering around trying out new things and experimenting.
Here's a B&W cel shaded image of Boobsey the busty elf:
I haven't seen anybody do this kind of thing on this site. Is this sort of stylized image even welcome here?
