  • I think that for static imagery it's about the scene as a whole, so angles that will highlight the larger picture are the best way to go, and then obviously a number of them to get out all the perks of a particular pose.

    I think a lot of porn makes the mistake of going in too close, as if staring at a particular set of boobs without context is the epitome of eroticism. For me it's more about highlighting the way bodies intertwine, the curves, the expressions, everything. And that automatically calls for multiple angles, whereas zoomed-in action has little need for it.

    But if there are some details which could be more interesting, out of a different angle, I would prefer more than one angle.

    Especially when you put alot of time into certain poses, it might be a waste if you just go for one static angle with it. If the extra angles are boring then just skip them, but if they are great looking, go for it.

    Most of the time it adds a sense of movement however. Since we arent in a spot to easily do animations, because of the big render times, this is the next best thing to do something like camera movement.

    I agree with both of you actually, I like the simple idea of not doing few renders when there is nothing else interesting to show but still, few angles give more dynamic to the scene that's why it should be considered. Anyway, the poll clearly states that most people like many angles and it's my opinion too in most cases. It's just the very thing of 3d graphics, we don't need to draw an entire setting again like traditional artists, we can just move the camera around :D
