At the moment I'm just kind of stuck in first gear. I don't have many other programs to compete for my memory and habit of use. Blender seems like a all in one sort of miracle.
The programs I have or have used: Daz, iclone3 starter, GIMP 2.6, an older version of GMAX. Lastly I have Headshop which I can't currently use because hardware and software limits on one machine while the other has some OS health issues that will never be resolved until I can buy a new OS due to my being a total dumbass earlier on. There's real people who would love to have 3D toons of themselves for porn and other–this program is essentially a dream for modeling a head & face based on picture images of front and sides. Hardware will be resolved in the near future.
I'm looking at:
several hair creation programs. While I have the LAMH plugin, I am unsure as to its suitability because again I can't use it due to hardware limitations. Even less sure of Garibaldi...I can go into more detail with my intentions here if you'd like.
Creation/modification of unique clothing and accessories. Others can simply be re-textured. Fairly self-explanatory.
Poser. There's a lot on renderosity that would be real nice to use. Plus I like some of the stuff Dangerboy3D has pulled off with Poser.
All in all, though, I think Blender can help in most areas. It gives me another option for rendering. Otherwise I'll be CPU rendering with 32GB and corei5 3570K. I can update to i7 3770K.
